CJ is tall and has reach and speed. Exactly what you need to cover down the field in today’s NFL. Which is why he is expected to be a high draft pick.

Bandy is definitely the better college player and more pro ready at the moment. But you can’t deny CJs upside. He’s fast and has solid coverage skills.
 
In the “going off on a tangent” department, I took a pic with Jobe, Henderson, and Bandy from when they were in high school and visiting UM. Randomly ran into them at the food court on campus. At that time Jobe and Henderson were committed here and Bandy was committed to Oklahoma. All
three were fairly quiet. Jobe looked like he would get a lot bigger. Henderson looked slim. And Bandy didn’t have as much muscle on him as he does now.
And there you have it.

This doesn't make any sense. All corners have to tackle. CJ has proven time and again that he'll get out of the way. Bandy will make the tackle.
 
Josh Jobe played with them as well at Columbus and he might have the highest ceiling of them all. We recruited Jobe and CJ way harder than Bandy. We were late to offer Bandy and are lucky to have him on our roster.

But comparing these kids because they came from the same school is irrelevant. They all have different skill sets. Bandy is a beast and can play at the next level, which is all that matters.

hes elite at coverage, doesnt like to tackle. Deon sanders had a long career like that.

Bandy is a savage, will likely be all ACC but CJ is elite at coverage. cant hate on him.

he'll get exposed on the next level you watch, teams in the nfl are gonna see he doesn't tackle and are gonna go RIGHT at him.
 
He will get drafted higher than Bandy.


I would rather have Bandy but CJ is the prototype on paper. Doesnt translate to the field tho. Dont think he and rumph would of meshed well here. Rumph likes physical guys at CB.
 
I thought last night CJ both showed why he has a reputation for being soft and why he is considered a high pick. Yeah you can tell he isnt a player that likes contact, but that dude can cover. Look at the freeze frame of JT4s 'drop'. You cant guard someone better than that. He's legit. But him and Bandy are apples and oranges. Bandy is a true dog! He whiffed on toney on that 4th down last night tho. Smh Perfect D was called and Bandy couldnt have been in a better position. Just whiffed. That was a big play early. He more than made up for it throughout the game though. Bandy plays like an old school Cane.
