If you can’t beat them, recruit them. Miami looked to its defeats in searching for defensive tackles, landing Marley Cook of Middle Tennessee and CJ Clark of NC State. Clark will be moving from two-gapping to more of an upfield role, using his quickness (4.62 shuttle in high school) to disrupt and show off for NFL scouts. He just seemed to disappear here. Clark was a starter on a good NcSt defense. I truthfully expected him to start here with Barrow.

Hindsight is 20/20, but I wish we tried harder to pull Barrow's teammate Harmon. Oregon will also be tough to recruit against ($) but I really could of used a big body DT to free up Kiko bit more last week

I think Clark was a good take. He was productive at NcSt and we needed bodies. Cook was the one we should not have taken but I guess we needed bodies. The dude who I would loved is Harmon - he is killing it at Oregon.
Mistake is probably too strong a word but certainly both have been disappointing. Harmom was the second best DT option imo.

We tried to get Harmon, he didn’t go through with his visit.

He’s been solid, not great or bad but serviceable for sure. Played well in a few games

I don’t know what you guys were expecting from Clark, he’s done exactly what he is. He was never brought in to be a game changing DT. He’s just there to be solid nothing more nothing less
