God.... smfh. Tell me what CJ Bailey would do so much better than Beck? lmao. We need someone much better who can create off schedule to Overcome Mario being conservative to his core that ALWAYS turtles when it matters or after mistakes (only by the QB) Thats all there is to it.

Bailey has a career 4.2% BigTimeThrow rate : 3.7 TurnoverWorthyPlay rate. He doesn't make explosive plays, he's a dink-and-dunker. And he turns the ball over - 11 fumbles and 17 Ints in 21 games.... wow how impressive! We're literally currently watching how this staff behaves with every ******* turnover or negative play (going into an ever bigger shell with their assclenched) our QB makes AND when they don't create enough explosive plays through the air to offset that. Anyone who thinks CJ Bailey would be a fit in this offense seems to be blind after watching this season imo. I'm sorry but this **** is ridiculous. 'oh my god but he's so tall and has some speed and from miami!' Literally this season he played like garbage against Notre Dame, Duke, and bad against Pitt. Those are the 3 best defenses he's played lol. Bailey is fine. He isn't a fit FOR US, period. We need someone who will create explosive plays through the air. Period.

**** Sorsby would be CLEARLY better imo, and I dont see him as a big play maker. but at least he mostly fully cuts out negative plays. I'd go with Mestemaker over him. I'd probably even go for Fifita over him, and he sucked last year. I'd still go with Rocco Becht over him. Obviously Darien Mensah, but that should be obvious right now given he'd probably be QB1 in portal overall possibly. I doubt Sam Leavitt would leave ASU, but he'd be a great add. Demond Williams would obviously be better as he is at least a REAL threat on the ground. I'd obviously take JKS over him given hes a frosh. Katin Houser is probably a little known guy we should absolutely be looking at getting too I'd think.

I think if you want a RUNNER, Demond Williams is the guy 100% over Sellers...

I hope we don't base the entirety of our likely success next year on the idea that Sellers is high-character as if there aren't literally dozens of CFB Qbs that are also high-character. Most Starting Qbs can likely be considered High-character...

Where are you getting the stats?

Would be interesting to see these stats for all potential portal QBs

On paper he has better tools than Will Howard and Haynes King who are also sort of limited polish running guys but I can definitely envision the disaster scenario outcome there.

Williams would be my #1 choice. Dual threat with consecutive seasons of 73%+ completion percentage.

I like Sorsby, Hoover, Mensah and I also believe Rocco Becht, despite a down season this year, would be better than Bailey and Sellers here at UM, but he would be like my 5th choice.

But I don’t see Mensah or Sorsby transferring again.
 
I want two since Luke isn’t playing ahead of Emory and Judd isn’t the man.

Senior with 2-3 years starting sorta like Sorsby
Sophomore with 2 years to play min. Cal and Pitt kids. I’m also ok with Mestemaker.

Sellers would actually fit Miami perfectly the more I think about it.

Not only for his 7 passing TDs and 5 INTs, but This season he has 117 rushing attempts for……………























158 YARDS!!!!!!!!! 1.4 yds per attempt.

Just perfect for running up the next ****** center’s *** (no pause).

Demond Williams is also 2nd in the country in EPA/Dropback. (Sayin and Maiava are 3rd and 4th respectively).
And He is 2nd in SuccessRate (Sayin is 1st, Mendoza is 3rd).

I don't really see why you'd want Sellers over Demond

If you can get Bailey for significantly cheaper that seems like a no brainer.
