Lance is entitled to his opinion. It’s an educated one.

I don’t think Bailey is the best QB in the country but I’m still a fan. Our front obliterated their OL and he made some very bad decisions under pressure. Bad game for him and good game for us. Still think he will play in the NFL.

Arm talent and size should have been enough to get him here. Mechanics can be fixed. Obviously he has way more upside than Judd, mechanics or not.

He said aside from Sayin, CJ Bailey’s who he’d take over anybody else and he added that it’s because he has more than another year as well.

To be fair, our defense is freaking elite. Our LB unit has been the weakest part of our defense, but they were not out of position. I did find it strange that we played #41, #1, and #31 together.

I know less than most of you guys and even I didn’t understand not taking Bailey out of high school and not because I thought he’d be anything like he’s become - but because we took Judd. Like if we took neither because they weren’t good enough at that time, I’d get that. But if you’re going low rated, with his local ties - St. Thomas - and ties to JJ and Trader, why would they ever take Judd over Bailey???
