Cincy game on Oct 1

I'm going to be in Cincinnati to go to the game in October, and I'm wondering where to find the cheapest tickets. Anyone from the Midwest on here that plans on going to the game? Also, anyone familiar with the area have suggestion for bars/food for before the game? Thanks for the help in advance!

Tickets will be readily available.

The game will be on UC's campus, in Clifton. The city won't have much night life on a Thursday evening, but there will be a Cane's tailgate before the game. I believe it will be in one of the parking lots.

There's plenty of eating options ... Just depends on your taste. But the campus offerings will, primarily, be chain restaurants.

If there is a Canes tailgate that is where I will be for sure.

I'm From Indiana and I will be going to the game. I found cheaper tickets on Vivid Seats. Let me know about that Miami Tailgate as far as times and location when it gets closer.
 
Probably could get lots of questions answered on their scout board; think it's gobearcats.com. I believe their stadium is currently under renovation.
 
That's a pay site though right? I posted on SB nations but from the looks of it no one reads that thing haha

I was 100% expecting that to happen haha. When you're a Miami fan from Michigan you don't turn down a chance to drive to a Canes game. I don't care if Ronald McDonald is coaching the team. Drove to South Bend to watch the basketball team last year too. But there has been some really good info on this post. Glad I did it.

Hahahaha. Only a matter of time. FWIW this game stands out to me and scares me alot. Week before FSU on road against a elite offense and a good coach. Were likely gonna need to score 40+ to win this game. Win or lose not great to have a tough emotional draining close game week before biggest game of season...on road....vs rival. Only positive is we do get 9 days in between.

If you're that dialed in against those of us who think that you're a scumbag if you give any funds to UM while they retain Folden, then get your tickets from UM. I'm sure UM will have tickets for sale for this game.

Oh, let me guess. You were hoping someone would offer you some tickets for free or that you'd find some angle to get them for a fraction of the price.

Be a hero, and support UM all the way. Buy your tickets from them for full face value.

A: I'm a college student who is driving 4 hours which will be a pretty big expense as it is. B: UM gets plenty of money for coming to play at UC. C: I'm a Miami fan, therefore I will support my team, even if I don't support the administration or coaching staff. You can keep crying and pounding your fists like a child while I'm in the stands watching some football. I don't get many chances to watch UM in person, so when I get the chance I'm going to go and proudly wear orange and green. So why don't you get back to *****ing about Golden and stop worrying about who I get my tickets from.
 
While it doesn't show the cast, as in later openings, the "radio dial" opening is still my favorite ("...could not explain his nudity").

When I drove into Cincy for the first time, this tune was was playing in my head. Great show; Gary Sandy still does occasional appearances in SW Ohio.

As for Nippert Stadium, it is jammed in between their arena, soccer field, baseball stadium (think A-Rod Park is bad? try Marge Schott Stadium!) and the weirdest looking sports admin building you have ever seen (it's on stilts and an aerial view from North to South makes it look like a...You get the picture). Parking is definitely a garage affair, I wouldn't want to leave my car on the side streets outside of the UC campus.

I will try to find out what section the alumni club is sitting in and try to post the info.

This game is too close for the wife and I to pass up and yelling at Fataweenie Alfredo Goldensky is therapeutic.

I live 30 minutes north of the stadium but I have never been to a game as I have only lived around Cinci for a couple of years. There are great bars downtown and by the river but that would be a hike from the stadium I think. Me and my buddy from work will both be there raising **** though! I was hoping to try to find some tickets on Craigslist later this summer. I would definitely like to tailgate with you guys if someone can tell us all where the parking lot will be. GO CANES
