I’ll also add Miami opened at +310 on Feb 5th to now +340

Clemson opened at +270 and are now at +170

Interesting….now at +410

Unless he returns kicks or some sleeper type transfer.. why spend on this dude versus developing your young talented WR’s and avoid losing them to the portal.

If a guy isn’t a difference maker not sure why a take like this is worth it
Because we desperately needed numbers in that group for this season.

Veteran depth. Not a WR1 by any means but somebody who has played real P4 snaps. We had too many walk-on reps in spring.

I don’t think this will block Toney or the other freshmen WR if they keep on their current trajectory. But it’s insurance if they don’t or if somebody gets hurt.
So this is like the WR version of Thomas Gore?

Cade 2nd is wild, but there’s plenty of people hyping him up from a statistical and analytical perspective.

Just tells me it's another weak QB class. No bonafide #1QB at the beginning of the year. Nuss is the best of that bunch going into 2025, but doesn't have great size (pause).

Bringing the conversation back to the thread title...
... this WR we brought in is not too bad. I like how he was used last year in the redzone. He had a knack for getting TDs on corner routes and few slants.

Again, having guys who know how to score is a good thing.
People around here were worried about our WR Corps because they were not proven in any live action moments.

This guy and Marion have scored TDs in real games. Stop complaining.

I heard a podcast with Cincinnati reporter who raved about Johnson.

Cincy is a run based offense that is run heavy play actions to pass.

Johnson was their 2nd leading WR in catches and yards, but led them in TD's.

He can get open on 3rd down and in tight spaces. Veteran saavy WR who has proven production at power 4 level. Toney natural talent should take over at some point.

he just has to be competent until Toney is ready. I have no faith in ray ray at this point.

Toney is just at a different level, but I thought Ray Ray supposedly took a huge step up during the off season. I know you're close to the program. But have you been to practices? I have not but was hoping Ray Ray could earn some real playing time while also leveling up the competition across all three.

people I trust told me they didnt see it from Ray Ray. Toney looks like the real deal.
