I thought it but I wasn't ready to say that to the rest of AmericaHow excited am I about this staff? I think they can make Flagg a decent player.

****... should have let it ride!!!No worries. I thought you were being sarcastic in agreeing with me.
But nah the only way he can save himself is by trying to say part 2 is the same **** every year. Every new coach gets asked "why miami" I do not think many if ANY people said "because of their respect for [Insert coach]" so that alone shows people are coming here just for Mario but..... **** near EVERYONE says "because its Miami, legacy of greatness, I want to be part of bringing Miami back to championship ball" so ignoring EVERYTHING ELSE going on and focusing on that one quote in a vacuum I guess maybe he right lol
Flagg looked better year one than last year, which leads me to believe he got some crap coaching. Coming right out of high school, he looked like he had some instincts. Maybe not the most physically gifted dude, but had instincts. Last year it looked like he was trying to do what coaches said, and abandon his instincts. I tried not to trash him too much, because there was obviously some shift in his approach. Another reason I think it was coaching is because he wouldn't be out there so much if he wasn't trying to do what the coaches wanted.I thought it but I wasn't ready to say that to the rest of America
Same chit every year...
Is it? So every year Miami yanks an AD from a Power 5 school that recently won a National Title and multiple Conference titles? Or is it every year Miami yanks a Power 5 HC with multiple conference titles? Maybe you mean every year Miami hires a position coach with multiple HC jobs in Power 5 conferences?Same chit every year...

This literally couldn't more different than the past 20 yearsSame chit every year...
Make some noise everywhere you can for them to keep Christy. They’d be nuts not to but you never know when there’s a change in admin what will happen.Helping Restore a Legacy
Charlie Strong, Miami's new co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach, has plenty of experience and know-how. His goal now? Help the Hurricanes restore their legacy at linebacker and beyond.miamihurricanes.com
Another great article from Christy.
We all know Charlie's resume' so I won't dwell on that. The reason I'm posting this article is to highlight what every other coach has said about why they came to Miami.
Number 1 was because of their respect for Mario and his track record of success and work ethic.
Number 2 was because it's Miami. The legacy of championships and wanting to help return Miami to it's former championship levels. Also mentioned is the commitment by the university and the community to provide the necessary resources required to elevate the program to championship levels.
It's been an absolutely stunning turn of events these last few months. We've got much to look forward to in the coming months and years.
She’s fantastic. She’s written articles about all the new coaches and several players since the regime change. Hopefully, that’s a good sign.Make some noise everywhere you can for them to keep Christy. They’d be nuts not to but you never know when there’s a change in admin what will happen.

This has to be a top 10 all-time dumbest response in the history of this board. That is saying quite a lot, too.Same chit every year...
Does she still work for Sun Sentinel or just for the school now? Honest question.Helping Restore a Legacy
