As expected, we would bring in a RB and Lofton would be prioritized in other areas.

I'm good with that. Love the Brown add. But again, whether Lofton is a TE, HB, RB or what have you, if he's TRULY the team MVP, he should be getting a bunch of touches a game. I'm not out at practice to verify first-hand he's as good as everyone seems to think. But if he is, I hope those plays are being schemed up. We underutilized Arroyo last year. I hope we don't do the same this coming season.

Given the same opportunity as Elijah Arroyo or Damien Martiniez -- I strongly believe he would have outperformed both last year. EL passed the eye test long ago and I won't be a fool trying to overthink it. I hope Mario agrees gives that man 200+ offensive touches this year.

I agree. He’s a natural football player, and can be a superstar if given the opportunity.

It seemed like every time that he touched the football last season he was impacting the game in a big way. Whether being used in the running or passing game, Lofton is a dude.

No one should be using the word but there’s also a difference between a black guy using that word and someone who isn’t black using it. And that’s my problem with the word being used at all as we don’t always know who is and isn’t black.

there is a difference depending on who is using it? really? that's an absurd standard

for the most part, i can write whatever i want and i can have whatever opinions i have and i certainly do not have to account to you. i never called you a racist. what i said was that CIS suspended me for quoting a lyric that had that word (i didn't even see the word) but has another standard because allegedly you are black. how does CIS know you are black and that i'm not?

the better standard is that NO ONE should use that word in this forum. i also believe that NO ONE should use that word in the real world, but that's not my business or a hill i'm willing to die on.

/carry on. I hope we use CWH wisely this year.
 
Other than Dmoney, Ariz and Trinton we don’t know anyone’s race, nationality, height, weight, hairstyle, or sexual orientation. Which is why we encourage everyone to stay away from using certain terms that the poster might not find offensive, but certainly could be to others.

On a complete side note of a side note, I prosecuted a murder case (successfully) about 20 years ago wherein my victim referred to a group of homeless whites kids as “f*cking squatters”. They attacked and killed him for being an outsider and using that term towards them. Sometimes that is all it takes.

Please either be the adults that you are, or emulate those people who you know that act like adults.
