Yeah - CWH's speed was all over map as a recruit. I saw anywhere from 4.45 (his hudl bio) to 4.7 (some posters).

To me, he looks like a mid 4.5 guy (just a total guess from his highlights) and I have no idea how he's carrying the added weight.

Hopefully CWH gets a good amount of run in the Spring game to see. I'm nervous there's been almost no chatter about Pringle because my hope has been at least 1 of those 2 has stepped up and looks good. My guess is we hit the portal if they haven't.

I agree 100%! I've been talking about this since before Spring. Now what about SJ Alofaituli playing some FB in certain sets with Lofton at RB or have both Lofton and Fletcher or mix in Lyle. You get the idea. Then if the coaches want, we could mess around with some unbalanced line concepts. I'm just spitballing here.

We shouldn’t be asking him to carry any loads of our running game. If our RB had more depth, this wouldn’t be a discussion, imo. Lofton is far more valuable and needed in other areas (TE room) in the field than at RB. Hopefully, we stay healthy and bring in actual RB to help that room.

He definitely has the explosiveness, maybe not the home run speed. But he’s very twitchy and has great wiggle for a 6’2” 250 pound football player
 
Remember when 3 of our running backs were hurt and we had to play the transfer backup from Louisville? I do. Dude will show out eventually. Fingers crossed we don't get that injured again at RB but only the shadow knows.

He's a natural with the capacity to excel at everything but offensive line. RB, TE, slot, outside..

Given the same opportunity as Elijah Arroyo or Damien Martiniez -- I strongly believe he would have outperformed both last year. EL passed the eye test long ago and I won't be a fool trying to overthink it. I hope Mario agrees gives that man 200+ offensive touches this year.

I really couldn't tell in this thread who was trolling and who was being real.

Seriously, love the kid but let's pump the breaks on expectations.
