Clemson is experiencing now what we experienced previously. The legit kids don't wanna go there because they know the way things are structured and program is set up they're taking a loss to attend. No high school stars wanna go there if they know they won't have the talent around them and a coach that holds them back. But everyone is allowed their opinions. Circle back on this when he's fired next season and give it one more season to get in a groove.

You’re spot on!
Clemson’s biggest issue will be them getting into the SEC. If that happens sooner than later, that could hurt them big time getting back on top.

People got excited about CJJ because they played too much NCAA Football. And you're being harsh on Wal-Mart. CJJ is the dd's Discounts version of CJ Spiller.

Coached against Spiller in 05 playoffs. He fields a punt between the numbers and our sideline and I said to noone in particular, "he's gone". 60 yard TD. Fastest human I've ever seen to this day

His uncle and I used to play against each other. He started telling me about that kid when he was like 9 years old. Sure enough he wasn't lying.

It’s just one story about one kid but one of my close friends trains elite high school kids. Blue chip kid wanted to go to Clemson. Comes from an amazing family, kid is a 10/10 human being and football player. Dabo got super weird with him about demanding he not take messages or visits with anyone else. I saw this first hand. Kid basically said Coach I need to do my due diligence. He acted like a scorned woman and tried to Jesus guilt him. He ended up going elsewhere.

Feels like Dabo is a dead man walking with his approach since NIL became a thing (this kid didn’t ask anything or demand anything NIL)

Clemson obviously isn't the only school that does that. But they're one of the last ones standing that isn't elite who demands that. Dabo definitely is a dead man walking over there. It's why he kept up with all those comments last year about how hed go somewhere else

And we are all supposed to believe he had no idea he had players getting paid pre-NIL. When Clemson had multiple first round picks come back after winning a natty it was confirmed. F dabo, F Saban, F anyone trying to cry wolf now that the playing field is level.
