Chris Johnson jr to smu

He's not wrong, though.
As many of us have wondered in the past about certain players, how could one be several years in a college football program and be rail thin? I don't think this is no longer an issue at UM, though.
Of course, Dabo being Dabo, takes opportunity to lob shots at a.program or two.

To me, maybe I’m just giving him too much of the benefit of the doubt, he seems to be more taking a shot at CJ than UM or SMU.

No matter how strong institutionally a program is, there will always be cracks. Bryce Fitzgerald is a much better player than CJ and I am sure much more serious about the nutrition needed to combine with training & recovery & conditioning etc; however, Mario still stopped him to tell him he looked skinny. That’s with Columbus having better infrastructure than Dillard.

It’s not just about gaining the weight required; though that’s a big part of it.

A lot of jokes being made about this image and on the surface it’s understandable. Did he just grow two inches and do nothing else? But Fletcher is obviously a different beast and the same animal at once than he was three years ago; even if his measurables virtually match when he came in. The mental mindset gains are a big part of the change required to continue to be a paid pro outside of college.

Also, how that weight is now distributed makes a lot of difference. At 39, I got a personal trainer and although I didn't have massive weight loss, I was a lot stronger and leaner and looked totally different.

Dabi basically made it sound like he went in our garbage bin to recycle. Literally hoping he works out

Some guys biologically can't put on weight. I've brought up John Square 1000 times but they did everyhting to bulk him up and he could never crack 200 lbs (and he was somehow still an effective edge)

FIFY. Dabo or no Dabo, Clemson is done. They don't have the juice.
Dabos time is numbered and when he's shown the door they're going to be heavily involved in the progress of that program. Clemson has plenty of money and has never been shy about using it. dabo just doesn't know how to run a program in this climate of college football just like dirty Nick Saban.

You would know better than I. But I just don’t see it. I know they were able to bag up those first rounder DL pre NIL but that was four guys plus a QB not a full roster to put on payroll. I’m not saying they’re broke, just speculating that they are too budget constrained to be a true player in the new world.
