Erick and Parrish are my favorite rap pair of all time. Not the best, greatest or most impactful, but my personal favorites. It’s crazy to me how dope they were sonically at the ages of 19 and 20.

I’d put their catalog up against anyone’s from that era. They never dropped a dude, never fell off musically. Strictly Business is a top 10 all timer for me. I love duos like OutKast, UGK, Ball & G (vastly underrated), Mobb Deep, Dogg Pound, CNN, G. Rap & Polo, Eric B. & the R, but I can’t say that any of them have a better body of work. Only OutKast would I say was more influential and impactful.

It's like arguing genetics vs environment. It's both. Yes, elite recruiting can overcome poor W/L ratios with some elite recruits. But not most of them. Whereas even good recruiting from a team like Bama, UGA or OSU will land a lot of elite recruits. Meanwhile, bad recruiting will end in a bad team no matter how good your W/L ratio has been in the past.

He made up his mind month and months ago but he didn’t have the green light until their other LB left for auburn. Once that was done he was in their class. He was never coming to Miami.
