Choose a Website Template

If you had to choose a website template for Canesinsight, which would you choose

  • The new theme we have right now which was added last night as the only choice.

  • The original theme we had prior to this new theme which used to be an alternative choice.

  • I’m not certain as to the differences or I don’t care.

I simply cannot understand, how something so Mundane, can turn into this big of a Topic....

How many New Dark Themes are we talking about? The one before or is there a new new dark theme that everyone is talking about now?

I don't care. The lights always looked similar enough I never noticed any difference. I've always been on default I guess.

Because if you look at the poll and see 97 votes one way and 10 votes the other way, and Andrew wants to do what the 10 votes want and tell the 97 votes that’s what they really want too - you’d understand how this got to this point.

It’s not an honest situation

Nah I can easily update them, don't tie yourself to the Vinny avi on my account.

Seriously, I'm just partaking in some good natured ball busting so please don't take it personal. I appreciate what you do for the site but I really, really think you should acknowledge that a majority of your users are not happy with the new theme and try to engage with them on potential solutions (giving them the options for old dark and old light would solve all of this).

For me, I can (begrudgingly) get used to the desktop version, but on mobile there's something with the contrast between the orange and dark that hurts my ******* brain. Light isn't an option because I don't enjoy staring into the sun for long periods of time. Functionality seemed better on the old versions IMO. Less user action required to navigate notifications and other features. I spend most of my time browsing on my phone, so yeah I'm making a bigger deal out of it than others.

That's my feedback, hope you take it under consideration. In the meantime...

I’ve been in DM’s and in this thread only. It’s literally too much of a deterrent to read the board - to the point I’m actually spending more of my time elsewhere and just checking in.
