@miami82...he was a solid 4 year starter. And in 4 years I never left a game thinking.."wow, chick really phucked up tonight". He wasn't a superstar. But he was steady. And on top of that. He was asked to do things he didn't sign here to do. (3-4 DE)

Chick is good with me. If that makes me a homer...so be it.

Al's Army rushing in to **** on another Cane soldier who did everything he was asked to do, including swallow an air hose, and got stuck playing in the shyttiest system in college football.

Never complained. Played every week. Answered the bell. Sacrificed stats to occupy blockers.

And what does he get? **** on by the classy fans who think flying a banner is grotesque and offensive and who refuse to boycott games because they supposedly want to "support the kids."

Who is Al's army? I am pretty sure it's a consensus across the board to get rid of him.

Chick's a ******* cane and bled for us, but at This U, everyone gets critiqued, especially when winning is the only thing that matters? His career will go down as pretty average for U standards. Is he memorable 15 years from now? Blame the weight or scheme, but I don't see anything special about his talents that he delivered while here. I want NFL at least first 3 round talent on our defensive line. We need that if we are going to be title contenders. How many plays would he see a game in 2001? He is an example of a player that reached his near peak athletically in high school. I didn't see much growth from Freshman to Senior year. Did you?

You are the one complaining about a player getting **** on? You never **** on Kacy Rodgers? Al Highsmith? Jacory Harris? Jimmy Gaines? Stephen Morris? Shane McDermitt?

Gaines is getting an NFL pay check, granted that it's only $6,300 a week. These kids at UM now always out perform what they did here, Chick will be no different.

You guys are aware that the pattycake 2 gap stuff is alot more common in the NFL then college. He's strong, he can hold the point of attack, good in the run game. Sort of a poor man's Brett Keisel. He'll be a unspectacular decent player that should be able to carve out his spot imo.
