Cheez-it Score Pickin’ Time

42 - 21 OKSt

way too much film on us and we'll lose the battle in the trenches and coaching
Mighty OK ST. doesn't have the HIGH OCTANE offense it's had in previous seasons. And their scoring against Big 12 competition suggest that.

Nevertheless, you're entitled to your opinion. No matter how OUTLANDISH it be. huh?

I'd put the brakes on that latter tout. Simply because mighty OK.ST. opened as a - 3 1/3 point chalk. But as of this AM, the point spread is now OK.ST. -1. Which indicates the Wise Guy SMART MONEY wagered on Miami. And in a " tight " point spread, that 2 1/2 swing suggest A LOT of dollars were wagered on Miami. Also, perhaps the Wise Guys obtained some INSIDER info' about the game this afternoon.

Nonetheless, bon chance on whichever team you decide to risk that TWENTY-TWO dollar wager on. LMFAO

Haha - put down $110 @ -2 last week. I like the way the OSU defense plays. Not too confident in our defense, and I know Gundy will run counters with whoever their RB is. Also, their QB is not great but we tend to make everyone look like Pat Mahomes. Sadly I really don't think Baker & Co are prepared for the mullet spread attack.

5-3 Canes.

Blake Baker gets a raise and a rare longterm extension for a college assistant. Blake James cites the gamewinning safety alone as a rationale. Mike Gundy is later found to have bet heavily on the game and is criminally prosecuted for fixing it. He blames an addiction to huffing gasoline and having lived too long in the hellscape that is Oklahoma for his lapse in judgment.

The real winner? Cheese Nips. Both cheaper and tastier than Cheez-Its.

Predicting any of the relatively meaningless bowl games is tough. Outside the playoffs or NY6, there isn't always motivation to play the game. Even worse in 2020. But fvck it... I'm feeling positive today.

The team gets reminded that their last time on the field was an abortion and they come out angry, punishing the team across from them to get that bad taste out of their mouths. A few of our key younger guys on defense show up fired up for a chance at increased playing time. King's decision to come back at QB next year has guys feeling inspired and optimistic about next season, and the players intend on doing everything in their power today to push up their 2021 pre-season ranking. On the other side, Spencer Sanders is personally responsible for at least 2 turnovers (including a pick to Couch), and OK State misses Chuba in the run game against an inspired UM defense. The result is we push in their ****: 38-17.

(Or TF Richardson breaks his foot off in the a$$ of our run defense and King is under duress all game trying to make chicken salad out of chicken ****, all while Gundy cvcks Diaz like a vet... but I'm trying to stay positive today.)

I don’t usually give predictions but for some reason feel compelled to today. I have this feeling we win in similar dominating fashion as we did the last time we where in this same bowl 4 years ago ... something along the lines of 42-16.

Don’t get me wrong I can definitely see us get blasted as Baker and crew definitely revealed last week what most of us knew... they blow. But I think we get lucky (like WR drops and turnovers, etc) and don’t think Okie Dokie St has the fire power that UNC has.

Regardless, not long after our bowl win... Baker and the fellas gotta get the slip (or “move on” to another college similar to Stubbs last year).

Manure will win the offseason again and hopefully brings some hope with a defensive coach who he’ll let take over the defensive. We will all be drinking the cool aid and hope that 2021 will be the year it all comes together!

The party starts tonight!

Refuse to predict a score based on our last 15 years of bowl ineptitude. I’m hoping everyone shows up motivated to play, besides King, who is a given to want to be out there.

They thinking it’s 2015. Or they remember the last time a um D took the field. Prolly the second thing tho
The only time OSU scored more than 35 points all season was against teams with combined records of 5-21 in the Big 12. ppl prob dont watch college football outside of Miami. OSUs strength is defense.

Right. Their O isn’t what we are used to seeing. Most people here are aware of that. Their score predictions are based on our D, not their O.

**** Blake James. **** Diaz. **** Baker. And **** the corny slurpers on this site but you guys are tripping with the negativity. OSU and their QB aren’t that good.

Miami 38 OSU 27

Just wait till ppl want to fire Lashlee, because we don't score at will on a "Big 12 defense" which is actually Top 15 in the country

OSU wins strictly on coaching ability and years of experience. Miami’s execution especially on defense is embarrassing. When I go to our high school games who made it to the semis, their execution is far superior than miami’s.
If I was a betting man, I would bet a lot of money on this game without even seeing the opposition. This would be the biggest upset in my lifetime....even then I am pulling for the Canes on every play.
