Seriously. I don't even have the energy or care to continue to argue with or provide facts to his advocates. Same cancers that put Cristobal and Kiffin on all of their wish lists.
 
We have more talent than every team we play minus fsu. Talent is not the issue. Coaching is
 
First of all, it's a 150% chance that Strong gets fired at Texas this year. He has no buyout and the locals are restless. Looking at the schedule, I see 3 more wins and maybe a 4th one against West Virginia. Other than that it's going to get ugly.

As far as coaching goes, I do think he'd do well here and I fully admit that no stat backs up that statement of mine. I will say that I looked at the Texas roster and he has 9 scholarships seniors on it and 15 scholarships juniors on it. That is not a lot to work with but he schematically has looked pretty poor regardless of the age of his roster.

Come on man. His team is regressing this year and you think Strong would do well here. Explain.
 
Strong is a horrible corch. Fvk Kiffin too. Fvk Cristobal in the cooter.

I fully admit that not a single fact backs up my claim.

Recruiting wise he can recruit Florida. Davante Davis and Devonaire Clarington had no Texas connections and he pulled them. He has shown to be a significantly above par evaluator of talent and developer of talent as evidenced by the low star South Florida kids he turned into excellent players at Louisville. Texas A&M has been running the state for the last few years and he still managed to pull elite prospects like Malik Jefferson, Anthony Wheeler, and Holton Hill. On that same token, he missed on the two must land prospects in the state with Kyler Murray and Daylon Mack.

I'll give hime so wiggle room on the offense. He inherited Swoopes who is the worst QB I've ever seen and he had to go to a true freshman who can only run and won't last four weeks at this rate.

Defensively, I've got nothing and that's supposed to be his calling card. The defense was tolerable last year and then when all of those seniors left they've thus far crashed back down to Earth. I've watched a few of the games start to finish and he has made some extremely questionable, almost Golden/D'Onofrio like, personal decisions and play calls. I don't have any excuse for that.

In all fairness, look at the roster he inherited. It was an outright dumpster fire of overrated, spoiled kids that were going through the motions while Mack Brown snored on his porch. I don't think it's an accident that so many kids transferred and were booted. All that turnover left him with 9 scholarships seniors and 15 scholarship juniors. It's really hard to win when you only have 24 scholarships upperclassmen but that doesn't excuse bad game planning and play calling.

I have no impressive stat, fact, or figure as to why Strong would be successful at Miami in light of what is happening at Texas other than his coaching and recruiting styles fit South Florida styles. I have to admit that.

Now of course if the God and Lord and Savior Butch Davis and Gary Pinkel are options than Charlie can go elsewhere.

1. I don't fancy myself that whatsoever and I graduated last year. I was right on most everything and first posted that Shalala was leaving and that her mother died.

2. You're annoyed that I shared that I was told Golden would be fired and he wasn't. Geo305 shared the same thing and that his contract was being reviewed so my bad.

3. I've posted my fancy photo with President Frenk so I don't know what more that you want that I was member of the administration staff.
