It's coming from Ferman so who knows. Basically, Miami and Strong were in a preliminary agreement that he would be the next HC, had a base salary lined up, a ballpark salary for assistants was agreed upon, then a few days later Strong asked about Hurtt and Miami said no, so basically Strong said no thanks. He's not coming without his ace recruiter/Sfla connection.
 
I think that would take care of that. I cant imagine Miami letting Hurtt come back to work. Seriously, if they administration is gonna be hard on Butch about Blake, how could they let Hurtt come back?

Yep, that sounds like massive B.S.
Typical Ferman.
 
This is also coming from a guy who is balls deep in Mario. He's trying to convince everyone that it is going to be Mario in the end. He screwed up by saying Strong was in the clear lead, then (just like the Gruden scenario) he realized his sources were wrong and Strong is no longer interested. Had to make up a believable excuse to get his *** out before something significant in this search actually happens.

After the Gruden thing, I dont really trust what he says either. I signed up for rivals based on that BS. Never again.

Hurtt isnt a S.FLA guy any way....Hes from N.FLorida.

Hurtt isn't even from Florida. He's from New York.

The entire Ferman story sounds like unmitigated bullshyte. Ferman made the entire story up.
