change my mind: toney was caught from behind because he was gassed from being in every single play

yall so sensitive. i didnt insult your mother. i didnt insult toney. if anything, i'm criticizing the excessively gadget-heavy playcalling. untwist your panties and think logically.

if toney had been fresh, i don't believe this guy catches him. newsflash: football is all about angles. engage your braincells - i'm not literally saying the aTm guy ran faster than toney - i'm saying if he was fresh the angle wouldn't have been enough.

Please insert your tiny ****** into your enormous ******.

Malachi Toney threw the ball ONE time.

Malachi Toney ran the ball THREE times (the most effective run came at the end of the game). Two of those runs happened before the punt return.

Malachi Toney had FIVE catches. Two of those catches happened before the punt return.

WE RAN SIXTEEN OFFENSIVE PLAYS BEFORE THAT PUNT RETURN.

The 55 yard punt return happened IN THE SECOND QUARTER, with just over 5 minutes to go in the first half.

SO YOUR ARGUMENT IS THAT AN 18 YEAR OLD COLLEGE ALL-AMERICAN, AFTER 25 MINUTES OF A FOOTBALL GAME AND AFTER PLAYING (AT MOST) 16 OFFENSIVE PLAYS, WAS SO WINDED BY RUNNING TWICE, CATCHING TWO PASSES, AND THROWING A PASS...THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE A PUNT RETURN AFTER SITTING ON THE SIDELINES FOR THE DURATION OF THE OPPONENT'S DRIVE?

Your porst might be one of the dumbest things ever porsted on this board.

"Think logically" is something you should apply to your defective brain-farts. In nearly half a game, a kid has been the focus of FIVE PLAYS, and suddenly he is too tired to return a punt? ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME?

Good lord, imagine that we asked him to play defense too. He might have screwed up and won the Heisman...

The tackle was obvious if you just watched the play, or the replay. I think Toney would also tell you if he had to do it over again he’d veer closer to the sideline. All good though, obviously.

Toney was not touched. The replay showed it. He tripped over himself.

Are you the same clown that said Toney was chased down on his punt return against SMU? One, you have never played the game to make that statement. Ok most of us haven’t. So two, you clearly failed all your mathematics classes. Learn football and learn math fool.

I agree about putting it to rest. If you get a chance, go back and watch a replay of him falling. It sure appears he wasn’t touched by the AM player, but the turf monster grabbed his other foot. I honestly think he was looking up at the video screen to see what was behind him.
His leg was slapped . . Barely

A slo mo replay clearly shows it

In real speed, you cant see it and it does appear that way. Two different replays make it look different

Just incredible effort and slightly lucky for the tips of hand to be at that exact sequence of his stride.

Not to belabor this, but I just went back and watched it again and saw something I didn’t earlier. It looks to me as the AM players hands completely miss Mali, but his right arm/bicep makes contact with his foot causing Mali’s foot to hit his left foot. I completely missed it earlier but saw it on tic toc video thats out there.

A guy dived and barely nipped his foot which caused his other foot to hit the other . It was a lucky play . Nothing to do with tired or he lacks a second gear. Let’s put that to rest.
I ain't been on this board in 4 years and even I can see that's not ever gonna happen lol. Porsters gonna porst.

Y'all are all literally blind. The defender smacked his leg and that made it hit his other leg causing him to trip.
