Change is Gonna Come...

I’m optimistic about what Manny is going to do with the defensive staff. No matter what this board thinks, Miami is in a better position then it is has been in sometime. He should be able to pull in some quality coaches.

But the “fans” that would need to apologize to Manny are too desperate to be first and right to ever do so. Wouldn’t matter what he did, they are dug in.

It’s why when the offseason news stops rolling, I’ll be as far from this site as possible until spring ball starts.(if it does)

He was named co-oc after the season to try and make him stay. During the 2019 season he was wr coach and passing game coordinator...keep trying

Made it easy on manny to be Seen as if he’s making changes when in reality he isn’t. The big one is to can Blake Baker it must happen and he must hire a prove DC. What he fails to realize he can bring in someone who doesn’t think exactly like him and he will have better results for it. Still play aggressive type scheme with new coach he brings new style. Hire Charlie strong or Will Muschamp

Yeah, Baker is a dead man walking. I'm guessing Manny is waiting for his new DC to accept the offer. No way as a DC does 3 of your staff get pushed out but you survive. If Baker were staying, these moves would be positioned as Baker doing the firings and upgrading his staff.

Only question now is who is going to replace him. If Manny brings in a legitimate DC who will not be his puppet, then Manny has a shot at doing well next year. If not and he hires another limp dyck, then these changes are pointless.

Who gives a **** if he's there or not as long as he's not calling plays? Did Baker #MeToo you and force you to give him a handy for a job, and now you won't be happy until he's on the unemployment line?

Solid post and especially the part about making it look like Baker is making these moves to upgrade his staff. I'm clinging to a scintilla of hope that Manny is once again taking too long to make changes, but will in fact make the right changes and improvements.

#1 to me. Wrote/recorded more classic songs in a few years than almost any other R&B singer/songwriter in an entire career. James Brown-Smokey Robinson-Marvin Gaye-Stevie Wonder territory.

Don’t want to talk about Brady anymore? Ok. If only Miami could get former college or nfl head coaches to come here to be a co-dc or oc, yeah it Would be worth it. But We have Banda, Patke and baker instead. Or thomas brown and Ron dugans with richt calling 15 year old plays that have “worked“ since the dawn of the forward pass. Not quite the same caliber of coaches...
