Great song. Sam Cooke is one of the all-time greats and very underrated and forgotten by many. He was a true leader in civil rights.

No point in keeping Baker on staff in any capacity. He proved he sucks as a DC and he proved he can't develop LB's. Why keep him around at all?

Yeah, these aren't hard concepts. Baker is not bringing anything usable to the table. And, if Manny's his good friend and perhaps made promises to him in private, then that's on Manny (if that happened). There's nothing positive Baker brings to the team. I'm sorry, but I hope he lived frugally, because he may need to live off of his savings for a while if Manny wants to keep his own job.

Facts, but In all honesty, it didn't say Manny saw 8-3 as a success, it said it was widely viewed as a success. IDK by whom .

By pretty much everyone besides Miami fans. In our minds we're just a few changes from being national title contenders. To the rest of the world we're a .500 program that should consider 8-3 to be a success. The truth lies somewhere in between.

like others have said about baker.. when you break down each aspect, it's really a head scratcher why even pay him????
- DC: stunk
- LB: last group never got better... young group hasn't done anything, and seems to play favorites with upperclassmen
- Recruiting: ZERO help

He wasn’t co-oc at lsu. We also have the Miami examples of having co-oc’s under richt and having co-dcs under manny. Both failed miserably.

I think Charlie Partridge at Pitt should be the next D-line coach. He's had success at G5 and P5 schools and recruits south Florida very well. He'd be my first choice.

Feels like Patke is that kid hiding out and avoiding eye contact with the teacher to try to stay outta trouble. He’s gonna make it through this isn’t he....
