Chaney/Knighton Vs FSU (Video)

Knighton is really a more electric Travis Homer. If he can keep that agility w/ a little extra weight/strength, he'll be a serious serious problem. Really excited watching these two guys

Cant wait to see Rooster as a sophmore and Junior with a couple years of our strength program. Dude is clearly electric but at times seems to trip himself up or maybe he is just tired. Add some strength on him and nobody is taking him down one on one.

The Canes have one of the best group of RBs in college football. No disrespect to Homer and Deejay, the Canes have the best group of RBs in two decades by far. Cam is probably heading to the NFL after this season, and if he continues to produce like he has done the first three weeks, he could be a Day 1-2 draft pick. If Chaney and Knighton continue to work hard, they will also follow Cam to the NFL in a couple of years.

When you look at the Canes RBs, they just look very different than any other group out there. Even Clemson and Alabama don’t have RBs that look this good (yes, I said it). During preseason, Lashlee said the RBs would be a strength for the offense, and he wasn’t kidding.

I’m going to go old school here for a minute, but these two kids could end up being our Ronnie Brown/Cadillac Williams combo.

Those two went first rd and dominated college football back in the early 2000’s for Auburn.

Knighton is very similar to Cadillac and Chaney is Somali to Ronnie brown as the “power” back that still has break away speed.

sky is the limit for these two kids. Let’s see if Franklin Sticks or if Amari Daniels finds his way into this class

Travis was awesome, but he could never move laterally like Rooster.

II think Travis had more long speed but I could be wrong.

The way they but their heads down and attack tacklers as thinner players is very similar.

Chaney plays like a grown *** man dawg. So violent and fast, always keeps his feet moving. His vision on them goal line drives have definitely improved.

Rooster is due to break away one of these 75 yard TDs, his feet and wiggle is insane. He just needs a little patience so he doesn’t run into his blockers or trips himself, but he definitely has the “homerun breakaway TD” potential of the two. S/O to Hickson & Fields for getting us both 🙌🏾
