Chaney/Knighton Vs FSU (Video)

Chaney is a beast.

in the open field, Knighton looks to be a Hester clone. Supreme cutting ability while keeping the same speed. He even has that same forward lean as Hester.

Chaney plays like a grown *** man dawg. So violent and fast, always keeps his feet moving. His vision on them goal line drives have definitely improved.

Rooster is due to break away one of these 75 yard TDs, his feet and wiggle is insane. He just needs a little patience so he doesn’t run into his blockers or trips himself, but he definitely has the “homerun breakaway TD” potential of the two. S/O to Hickson & Fields for getting us both 🙌🏾
Rooster has more wiggle but Chaney look faster lowkey.. limited numbers we have support that too.. Chaney burst is there.. Dont sleep

Chaney burst is definitely there, judging by them runs yesterday he looks to run through his tacklers and then breakaway in the open similar to Gore. But Rooster man it’s like he’s one cut and he’s gone, 80 yards to the house. But don’t sleep, Rooster can definitely lower his shoulder and truck somebody.

On that jet sweep if Jaylan keeps outside and follows Mallory he might house it.. Brevin had his guy pinned and it was blocked up right..

They are flashing and the game still hasn’t slowed down. Their vision will improve and it’s not bad now.

When they stop running into blockers and hitting the wrong hole they will be true nightmares for the defense.

I don’t know bruh.

Chaney be moving so fast.

I think they will be near equal in big play ability. Just depends on how big Chaney gets. He will be a monster before he leaves. Maybe 230-240 with the way he trains. He 210 as a TRUE FRESHMAN. His dad is a big man. No telling how much room he has to grow.

I'm confused by what your saying here. Are you trying to say Rooster is faster than Chaney? Because it's actually the opposite just so you know.

Show me where Rooster has ever run this fast.

"Chaney, who committed to the Miami Hurricanes in February, is powerfully built at 5-11 and 205 pounds. But he also has speed — his best time in the 40-yard dash was 4.39 at an Under Armour camp. Hops? He has those, too — he can easily dunk a basketball due to his stellar vertical leap of 39.5 inches and is a three-time state champ in the high jump".

Chaney reminds me a McGahee. He'll be 220 next season and even meaner.

Burns ran hard too. He takes a lot of **** but he's a specimen too.

What are you talking about? you’re going off numbers they ran during offseason testing in high school when both of them haven’t hit a run longer than 33 yards... Both of them clock in at 4.4. Btw

If you want to give Chaney the slight edge because a 0.01...sure.

But understand Chaney was superior in track and field. we won’t even get to running with and without pads being two different speeds, but I digress so I’ll explain my statement for the last time. “Breakaway homerun TD” potential or Home run threat isn’t just about speed...it’s a mentality. Pay attention when knighton touches the ball and afterwards. He immediately burst, and his feet moves before he’s handed the ball, and once he gets the ball and finds a crease, he’s either looking for that one cut before he hits the hole or he runs in between the tackles and then cuts in the second level and utilizes space and change of direction. Fluidity and cutting laterally in open space is how you become a homerun threat, it’s what made Dalvin Cook and Duke Johnson transcendent athletes. Where Don Chaney jr has him beat is long speed. Meaning how fast Chaney is in open field. That I can agree with but long speed don’t always equate to home run threat. Chaney is faster than Cam in terms of long speed but Cam probably leads the nation in 50+ yard runs, you can tell Chaney likes to punish on the second level & he’s not as lateral as Knighton or Cam, so his bread and butter will be being an explosive force on the second level similar to Gurley and Gore. I’m not comparing the two to put one down I’m happy we have both, y’all just be saying anything on this site.

I legit had to check myself because I l also thought Knighton looked just like Hester on that end around. Wearing #4 and everything.

I don't know if anyone is actually as good as Hester in the open field, but Knighton looks like he has some Hester in him.
