Chaney hurt again

We need to move on from him. I’m not saying cut him, but we can’t count on him to provide depth.
Not necessarily. We just need to recruit at least one stud RB every year. RBs take a beating and get hurt as much or more than any other position. Just a week ago we thought we had this incredibly deep RB room and now we're down to only three. Thank got we brought in Parrish.

That’s my point. We can’t count on him for reliable depth. We need to carry depth according to that understanding.

Pretty much lol. With injuries I tread lightly. I won’t speak on anything until I see it posted elsewhere or rumors running wild. Even though the 4-6 weeks guy was wrong. I’ll never put out the actual injury , that’s not my place or business.
You don't have to respond to say yes or no if you need to maintain privacy, but I saw someone post on a Hurricanes page that it was a hairline fracture on his hip. Not sure if that person was correct, but that is a 6-8 week recovery time as you said.

Most NFL teams keep 3 active RB's and a fourth on the practice squad. College, you need to have 5 on an 85 scholly roster. Anything less and you're rolling the dice as if you were in a Mississippi casino.

Add in NIL, the transfer portal and injuries and we should be recruiting two a season.

Honestly who cares the amount of time out. It’s tiring all the people who think he’s Mcgahee and without him our season has changed. Like literally nothing has changed. He was 3rd in line at best coming into camp.
Shut the *** up dumbazz!

I’d love to watch Don put you on your ***n knees and slap you across the face with his dong. And there’s not a **** thing you could do about it! Don’t ever disrespect our players!

This kid has worked his *** off for this U and you WILL respect him!!

I told people when they were losing it about taking Parrish that you need five backs at all time. Here’s more proof why. It can happen and happen fast. Transfers, injuries , off field issues etc.

This would make more sense bc an acl is typically announced more quickly.

Love Rooster, but he's a change of pace back, not an every down back. He's the guy you bring in on passing downs or two-back sets, put in motion to get him out wide and exploit matchups, and give him 12-15 carries a game.
Chaney Is an every down back? Sadly he can’t even play in games. Rooster is a tough SOB and will turn heads.

Look what we uncovered. This guy is claiming not to be a fan. Player? Coach? Parent?

No one is giving up on Don. Plus, the only thing that matters is if Don gives up on Don.

He has been injury prone—consistently—since 8th grade. He has never had a healthy period. At least Frank Gore carried gables on his back for a period of years before hitting some back luck.

Bad luck has nothing to do with durability.

We can’t count on Don as being reliable depth until he proves us otherwise. This is a fact. The only person who can fix this is God and Don.

It comes across as rough and I hate it for any athlete who is consistently struggling to stay healthy, but it also rings true.

I know what you meant when you said you couldn't count on him for depth and I hate it for the Don. Hope he keeps grinding, I'm sure he will, and at the end of the day things will be as they will. Effort and drive will determine whatever he does on the field, but so far the young man has shown nothing but try. There's no give up in him that's for sure.

As for Gore, he's so far from the norm in what he went through and did post multiple severe injuries. I'd be curious if he has any pain daily after that career of his.

When people started running with Manny Navarros horribly worded update I said it wasn’t a knee. Even though he made it sound like it. 6-8 weeks also makes it obvious it’s not anything like an acl.
Sounds like a stress fracture to me, I hope that is it.
