Michigan was 8-5 last year 5-4 in conference and also lost their bowl game this year they’re 10-1 and 8-0 in conference.
Jim Harbaugh turned Stanford into a perennial Pac-12 competitor and top 10 team. Then immediately turned around the garbage 49ers and took them to a super bowl. Rorcht is a career underachiever.

Lol it’s clear u will dck ride anybody that’s not the current HC of Miami... you are reaching so hard it’s pathetic. Stanford had one great season (2010) under Harbaugh before he went to the NFL.

His first three seasons at Michigan are almost identical to Mark Richts at Miami... two very good seasons followed by a bad season going 8-5. And now he has Michigan pushing for a playoff spot while some delusional fans that are a carbon copy of the delusional fans that make up this site were screaming for him to be fired.

I don't care what you need to do to rationalize it and cuddle up to your mork Rorcht blow up doll. He's nowhere near the coach Harbaugh is.

OP fails to realize that this situation is different for one big reason. That reason is that Richt has lost this team. These players don't believe in him anymore. Once that happens it's practically impossible to get it back so for all practical intents and purposes it's a wrap for Richt here.

The only possible way Richt can survive this is to come clean with his players and admit that his offense won't get it done. Then he needs to go out and hire the best **** OC he can get his hands on and give that OC full autonomy like he gives Diaz. Then he needs to hire the best OL coach he can find or whoever his new OC wants. Finally he needs to move his son to another position in the program or have him be quality control or get someone else to hire him and get a QB coach in here unless the new OC wants to assume that role. The administration may want to tag the new OC as HC in waiting depending on who it is. When he is done with all of the above he needs to find someone capable of turning our dismal special teams around. Maybe a recently fired HC. Just get someone who knows what the freak he is doing.

Lastly........PAY MANNY DIAZ!!!!!! That dude has earned it and more. In fact it is Diaz who has single handedly kept this team from completely imploding. Despite all the loses and all the drama, Diaz's defense has come to play each and every week. That says a ton about Diaz. El Jefe has taken a ton of criticism and many expected his defense to fall apart in year 3 but instead he has led a top 3 unit. Diaz has learned from past mistakes and was willing to tweek his defense based on his players strengths. Diaz usually likes to play a fair share of zone but in camp this year he saw that his secondary excelled at man coverage so he went with much more man this year which has really benefited the pass defense this year especially on 3rd down.

If Coach Richt lost the team and the players don’t believe in him anymore than how did they go to Blacksburg and beat VT 38-14??
