The oddest forfeit of the season didn’t even last a half — It may be awhile before we fully learn what inspired Champagnat Catholic, of Hilaeah, Fla., to forfeit against IMG Academy while still in the second quarter. Yes, IMG had already built up a virtually insurmountable 48-8 lead. But did Champagnat throw the white flag because it didn’t want to play the role of whipping boy, or was it because of concern about injury or numbers? One report claimed that Champagnat walked off the field to protest a second quarter call that the coaching staff disagreed with, but that is from one account. Only time will tell if that tells the full story.

They didn't even let their star players suit up coaches said they were saving the players for the playoffs, the game was getting out of hand and getting chippy so before the refs ejected any players which would make them not eligible for some of their playoff games they just quit and forfeited the game

Salomon needs to make a smart decision and transfer to BTW. Especially with his legal issues and CC misguiding kids, Harris would be a good coach who maybe could instill discipline in him. He would also fit in good in their offense. I would still take him at UM in a heartbeat as long as he proves for the rest of his HS career that he can stay out of trouble.

Haha, Genron. Get your assed kicked, quit, make statement with false statements:

We felt our players were at risk for physical harm according to extra curricular fouls the referees were letting go. There were several incidents on the field during game play that flags for unsportsmanlike penalties should have been called. Only one incident was flagged and that was for excessive celebration by IMG. Other incidents of punches and play after the whistle were noted by our sideline referee but not called. After 2 IMG players attacked one of our players at the play ending the last play I felt the correct decision should be end the game. The other team is not regulated by the FHSAA and does not follow their regulations. IMG also was in their last game and their players and program had nothing to lose for an ejection, fighting, and or fines. In my opinion that was the cause of their reckless play in the field.

“According to Joshua Wilson from FloridaHSFootball.com, IMG Academy is a member of the FHSAA as an independent. This means they are governed by the state’s governing body and subject to all punishments and regulations. A visit to the FHSAA’s website does, in deed, indicate that IMG is a member as an independent. That information can be found here.

His D gave up 70 last week. Scumbag, quitter, liar, ****** coach, ****** "mentor".

Valentine cleared yet at LSU?

I think I saw somewhere that champagnat was sitting some of there better players this game cause the playoffs start this week. I'm assuming the only reason a small school like champagnat scheduled a school like IMG is cause other south Florida schools don't like what champagnat stands for and how they run there program.
