He needs to get props. he is recruiting just as hard as Brad. Coach Coley during bowl practice said Chad and Brad been the leaders on each side of the ball and we haven't had that. both kids are stepping up.

I think it's great what they are doing, but what a sh*t show for TWO freshman to have to take over the leadership of this team in order to change the team culture. Hopefully they will be here for four years if they are committed to the cause. Go get those recruits Chad and Brad!
 
When was the last time we hosted a weekend with mostly Freshman and sophomores doing the hosting?

Knowing Chise, he was being sarcastic. But I do like the fact that Kaaya and CThomas are taking this team over. "Run with us, or run from us". Time for HS recruits to see who will be leading this team from here and what the "plan" is. That's all we have to hang our hat on.
 
i could care less about rankings. i want needs filled. Especially on defense. Barry and Brightwell along with Marcus Lewis is a good start.

The last time this happened was when all the juniors and seniors hated the HC and would have transferred if they didn't have to sit out a season. So, the answer is never.

But I trust Chad and Brad. We closing strong, fambros!

Exactly. These guys are putting too much stock in talent. We need more junkyard dogs and coal shovelers. Coach Golden needs to get back to what got him here. Let's do dis!

When's the last time we had leadership like this from our players? I think you gotta go back to the championship run when guys like Ed Reed and Dorsey demanded excellence. We need the players to step up and hold each other accountable. Guys like Kaaya and Chad are doing that now. I think Jaquan and Sam Bruce are in that mold. We get the right guys who put the team on their own shoulders, it won't matter who the coach is.
 
Like Pete said earlier this is brad and chad's team now and we haven't had leaders like those guys in a while

Maybe they have a different perspective vs all those outside the program. The fact that they are loyal & vocal in the face of stiff criticism seems telling. What do they see that all the naysayers don't? Or, do all those clamoribg for AG's head see something they don't? The former seems far more likely than the latter.

Just sayin....

I hate to say it but.... Brad and Chad will be better leaders than Duke... And are already making a bigger impact in terms of recruiting while being on the team. Duke did it before the team but not after. We all know what he was saying to recruits after he was on....

I might be wrong and things obviously change once you're on a team but I kinda remember Chad specifically not recruiting other kids when he was a recruit. Seem to remember some specific comment he made about it. Not an indictment on him but just interesting if he's basically having to do a coach's job now in relation to saving this class.

Who have they gotten to prove the are better recruiters? and what they have done besides talk about being a leader?
