Chad Thomas didn't travel with team

I wouldn't even take a stab at why he's being denied an opportunity to attend and/or participate in such a team event. I pray to the football gods that it's not injury, and this is not a staff/admin blunder, but my confidence in the decision making dept with both had previously been shaken enough to receive this news with indifference. I'll admit to some concern and being perplexed.

From someone who has played college sports unless you're on the injury list you travel with the team. Is the budget that bad you can't send your future defensive star with his "family"? At least create the illusion that we are whole. This just puts fuel on NEB fire and makes us look unorganized. He's gonna have to 90,000 fans at some point. And being a season ticket holder it's sure as **** won't be at sun life. This decision is confusing at surface level.

Agreed. Simply no reason Barring Family issue or injury which does not appear to be be the case as he was at the btw game tonight.

What kind of injury keeps him off the plane?Are we that strapped for cash. Where is the confirmation? Don't see anything but the usual cryptic bs from Pete.

I think most teams only travel with 65.

I was very vocal earlier but if he is dinged then that is fine. Still sucks because we need him tomorrow

Like it has been said numerous times in this thread. He should travel just to see the environment and get used to it. I'm sure other freshman who won't play will be traveling......

Because everything has to be shrouded in a cloak of secrecy with this team while Folden goes on camera and lies through his teeth. Just wait till the losses start piling up and things start getting ugly. Pretty soon they'll start trotting out Josh Earnest to do Folden's post game press conferences for him.

U can only travel with a certain number of players and u aren't going to travel a guy if he can't play.
U guys worry about things out of your control and get worked up over things u know nothing about.

Guys get left home for treatment all the time. Superstars have been left home. The hurt do not travel 95% of the time. Never have, never will.
 
How is he dinged up and it nots reported. Golden is a douche, am starting to think he is worst than Saban. Only this staff gets a physical specimen like Chad and not know how to wreck havoc on teams from day one.
