I felt really confident this time last week. But now.. I think the rankings will look exactly like they did on Tuesday, right down to having BYU ahead of us.

No ACC teams get in.

ND gets in "because" (they want them to).

If they can't/won't punish Alabama, how can they punish BYU? They have two "good" losses to the #4 team in their rankings and a win over #15.

This is the safest path for the committee. Protect Alabama and the SEC. Protect ND. ***** the ACC. ***** Miami.

They can punish BYU and not Bama because they can do whatever they want. BYU will drop. So will Bama. But Bama might not drop out of the top 10

They’ll use us as the losers in this scenario and throw their hands up and say the system is broken we need a 16 team playoff with 6 from the SEC and Big and 2 each from the ACC and B12 or a high ranked G5.
