CFP Selection Watch

Kind of a side note: is Adam Lichtenstein the most useless Miami “reporter” we have seen maybe even including Susan?
I actually think he’s been solid. He’s been fighting the good fight on social media. Has done way more for us than Pete.

I don't understand why if the committee doesn't want to rock the boat too much - they just leave out ND.

Setting aside whether they deserve it over Bama, it's simpler and more justifiable. Who would really be upset if ND got jumped by us? Having no ACC teams just destroys the fragile coherence of the thing.
Exactly. A P4 conference being shut out all together has more serious implications than a snubbed ND I would imagine. But maybe the ACC is just that pathetic and toothless. Who knows?

He literally had made a career out of quote tweeting others. It comes off as he doesn’t even follow the team. I’m not strictly speaking on the CFP aspect.

The CFP as we know it is such a goddamned mess. Businessmen with money have ruined this sport. The sports media complex has ruined this sport.

I am feeling physically sick at what they are about to do to us and college ball in the next hour.

ACC is done like Norvell at FSU: Just waiting for the money to get right so the plug can be pulled.

Nothing more, nothing less

Bleacher Report has us OUT

At this point, everyone, except for maybe Heather Dingbat, is guessing.

If the Vegas lines shift significantly in the next hour, that means news leaked. That’s the only reliable source of information right now, in my view.

Otherwise, use common sense: the Committee moves mountains and performs the most transparent mental gymnastics every week to keep Miami out. So what do you think they’ll do when choosing two among Miami, Alabama, and ND?

Just look at their decisions over the past four weeks.

This will be historic. In just an hours' time, this committee is about to scratch the term "power four" from current conversation. We'll now be on the outside looking in at the "power three". College ball came crashing down by committee and unethical means.
