CFP Selection Watch

I felt really confident this time last week. But now.. I think the rankings will look exactly like they did on Tuesday, right down to having BYU ahead of us.

No ACC teams get in.

ND gets in "because" (they want them to).

If they can't/won't punish Alabama, how can they punish BYU? They have two "good" losses to the #4 team in their rankings and a win over #15.

This is the safest path for the committee. Protect Alabama and the SEC. Protect ND. ***** the ACC. ***** Miami.

Man, Heather Dinich looks a lot different without her makeup.

I disagree. H2H is more important than the future of conf championships

The line is moving our way. Was +165 last night, +145 an hour ago, now down to +130.

Keep us updated if you can.

This is BY FAR the most important thing to watch. Last year, the final rankings leaked to the sportsbooks a little over an hour before the rankings show started. It's probably safe to assume that'll be the case this year too.

Look at the unprecedented things that could happen today.

-No teams make the playoff from a major power 4 conference (acc).

-A 3 loss team makes the playoff.

-A team that beats another team head to head and wins the 3 of 4 common opponents argument between the two gets left out.

The playoff committee is a fraud and joke.

At least there won't be a camera showing our reaction. No team meeting while watching the show

I don't understand why if the committee doesn't want to rock the boat too much - they just leave out ND.

Setting aside whether they deserve it over Bama, it's simpler and more justifiable. Who would really be upset if ND got jumped by us? Having no ACC teams just destroys the fragile coherence of the thing.
