CFP moving to 24 teams

[Gocanes1990]

Travesty!!!!! Also financially taxing on people. Absolutely sucks. Greedy ********

[SpikeUM]

Looks like starting in 2027. So we get to watch 15 SEC teams in the playoffs.

Dont exaggerate, Arkansas, MSU and Vandy are never getting in, so its only 13 teams.

[Tony4Canes]

starting this year?

2027 Season

[ShadowSpring]

The top 8 seeds would have a bye followed by a home game.

[Braduhley]

Yay, more blowout playoff games.

[miamicanephins]

is the goal to get to 64, plus some play ins?

[Tony4Canes]

[BS85]

Disgusting

[YankeesCane]

So the season doesnt matter

Yet another thing ESPN has ruined

[lfoliva9988]

simply awful. Legit gonna have some dog sh*t 8-4 SEC team making it in

[Canes Legacy]

RIP to the greatest regular season in sports

[Braduhley]

I'm assuming they're doing away with conference championship games? Looks like we have to win the ACC or we will literally never win it

[ShadowSpring]

????
"The No. 1 seed would face the winner of No. 16 vs. No. 17, and the No. 2 seed would face the winner of No. 15 vs. No. 18)"

[htownkidd]

We gotta win it all this year. I’m legit borderline depressed even though I knew this was coming.

[NC_Canes_11]

Disgusting. There has never been a season in the history of CFB where more than 8 teams had a real chance of winning a national championship.

[Cookie917]

and yet #25 will still complain. They need to also understand these are still kids that, some of, would like to go to school and get an education and you are giving them zero breaks. Also doesnt take into account the physical toll on younger bodies. If you are doing this then get rid of the cupcakes on the schedule and shorten the regular season and start the playoffs earlier so we can watch the runner up in the SEC blow out some G5 team in the first round.

[The U is back to work]

Yeah sport dies when this goes live. You take away any thing that mattered. SEC and B1G teams can always lose 3 games and be in. Same with ND. We need out of the ACC quickly.

[nycane]

no need for a regular season.

[YankeesCane]

Gonna be insane when 7-4 teams get to the playoffs

Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Vandy, Penn St, Michigan etc.. all now possibly playoff teams every season

They've rendered big regular season games to nothing
