Outside of watching our bowl game I won't consume another second of college football product this year. And any ACC school that has ND on thier schedule should cancel thier games expeditiously. It only benefits the SEC and BIG10 to play them, that's the only time it counts as a real game. It's just a glorified scrimmage when you beat ND and you're not from the 2 golden conferences. Stop being thier patsy!

People are over thinking this. The only reason they moved Bama was to give them a drop buffer if they lose and prep to move ND out if BYU wins. They have ****ed us over time and again but we think they’re setting it up for some big wow flip reveal. Cmon man.

Focus on winning the bowl game. Play it like it’s the Cotton Bowl in 91. Set the tone for next year get to 11 wins.
 
President Jack Tunney was GREAT. When Undertaker defeated Hogan at Survivor Series with the help of Flair who intervened in the match and directly costed Hogan the title, Tunney immediately ordered a rematch between Taker and Hogan the next week in Texas.

And before that when Ted Dibiase paid the twin of Dave Hebner to throw the match between Hogan and Andre the Giant in favor of the Giant (the paid off ref counted to three when Hogan clearly got his shoulder up), Tunney ruled for the title to become vacant.

I really don’t get the disrespect for Tunney here.

yeah but that's only part of the equation, although we have no path if BYU wins.

Assuming BYU loses....The Bama game will still be a factor. If Bama wins, they'll stay in the CFP (obviously) and the final spot will come down to Miami and ND, thus (hopefully) using the H2H clause to get us in. If Bama gets blown out (won't happen), then they might drop out of the top 10 entirely and last two at large spots will be ND and Miami. If Georgia wins a close one (or within 1-2 scores), then Bama might drop 1 spot (which would be bad for us because that would put them in between us and ND. We'll get shut out of the CFP if that happens.

So, we are all Bama and BYU fans this weekend.

With the exception of that idiot Joey Galloway, practically every sports media personality and even politicians are slamming this sham called the CFB Playoff Committee. It makes absolutely no sense why the committee seems dead set on some of metrics they’re using to select the playoff teams.

Great 8 logic says that…..maybe I am being too optimistic to think Miami has a chance!!
