I feel like everytime I watch Hawaii on tv they just look like a glorified hs team

I used to watch UH football all the time when I lived in hawaii. All half decent players in the state go to the mainland. What's left is mostly high schoolers who wouldn't be starters at any D1 program (there are no D2 or D3 football programs I am aware of in the state, so UH is all there is if you want to play college ball in Hawaii).
