Yea its seems like we are condensing the field too much and playing underneath.. Alot more screens and mesh but we need to open up offense more or the better defense will choke out the underneath stuff

It’s frustrating when you consider that Mensah was a very willing downfield passer at Duke last year.

Some of it could be Dawson, but I think a big part of the equation is the loss of Moore and not having either Wingo or Jacobs emerge as that guy, but some of it is also Darian needing to pull the trigger faster on some downs.

Still think this offense has another gear it can hit.

Yea Moore was emerging but it seems hard to really pin down to one thing. When the Wake 2nd half had our offense grind to screeching halt, thought it had to do with them not trusting oline and maybe being to Mali focused to point, if he is not in game we cant run an offense.. I hope we can begin to open up more with oline more settled.

Even Beck would get Sail concept throws and such even though we ran alot of screens.. I hope with more confidence in oline we hit that gear, many believed this was a top WR core in nation, we need to play like it.
