When does construction start on #2?

They have been working on internal destruction of the Stanford Towers. Between asbestos and "modern" methods of tear-down, they are no longer doing a detonation collapse. I expect Stanford to be cleared out for construction this summer, and then probably new construction to start as early as the fall semester.
