It's important that people start understanding our issues and what's going on. Being informed is the best of paths forward. We don't have secondary issues at all normally. So adding someone that is a depth piece simply for the sake of adding someone because of what you're seeing these last couple games isn't accurate. It's important to remember our basically first & second team DBS have been injured all throughout the season and then plenty of instances our third stringers as well. We have dudes playing that have no business being on the field YET or possibly ever here. But you can't judge them for what they're playing as now when their dudes that were never in the plans to be on the field in the first place for this point in time. Our play calling certainly isn't helping them but that won't be fixed by adding depth pieces either. That's fixed by our DC opening his eyes and making adjustments to what teams are doing to us. Not trying to lecture and I hope you didn't take it that way. I just wanted to clarify we are in a very good place when it relates to our DBS and the talent level of the ones we should be expecting to play not to mention we are bringing in multiple monsters in this class as well at DB. If you was a safety I might not argue the point but for a corner definitely no need.
So the question is... Has our DC opened his eyes or is will stuborness be his own undoing as it was with many of our past cordinators?

Dude, you have to take these grades with a grain of salt man. I didn’t see anything on the field with him that popped out the other night. Literally nothing. Maybe he turns out good and maybe he doesn’t but that story is yet to be told.
Agreed, not sure if beat my chest about being apart of a defense that gave up a score on 6/7 drives with three of those scores coming by way of the pass.

Thanks for clarifying?
For a second there I thought he was limiting it Instagram with the IG abbreviation which definitely seemed stranger. Not that what he meant to say also seemed strange and out of nowhere.

naw alot of ppl didnt realize thats him.

Kids dad is a um fan obviouslly he was to....the reclassify muckied things a bit.....i dont thinkt hey ever dissed um or anything or had a funny recruitment.... Belichek sold the goat football coach stuff and nil.

Kid is playign as a true freshman wish he was here cause i think he is a solid cb...but it is what it is he will have to see us for the next few years.
In hindsight given the injuries to our CBs he likely would have played here as a freshman. Unforutnately, back in December of 2025 things looked different.

Go back & watch the film, just about every time Mensah looked for the WR he was covering. He had to tuck it & run or look for another WR.

Thats the thing about good corner play, sometimes its boring & not flashy

The guys in the room had nothing to do with him not coming to Miami

How many scores on 21? Against a Heisman candidate QB, yea ill beat my chest all day on that.

I didn't mean to imply he was afraid of competing more if the coaches knew we would be decimated by injuries at CB they may have prioritized him as 2026 recruit like they were for 2027.

The kid made his choice. If he felt being on a team that has no chance of ever making the playoffs then let him enjoy watching us on TV from home. 🤷‍♂️

Here’s the thing man, he didn’t do anything that popped on the screen, nothing at all that would make me think we need to move mountains to get them to transfer to our team. I mean, we scored on every single possession on their defense except for one. I mean, if he locked up Malachi, which, of course he didn’t, then I could understand it but as far as I’m concerned,he can stay in North Carolina for all I care.

**** , he looked impressive . I def hope we get him back to Miami

The fact that pops don't give a **** that the whole NC defense played trash but his son looked "impressive" should tell you something.

or maybe it means absolutely nothing at all. I'm not a parent so hey, fvck what I say on that topic lol
