Despite his self-assessed need for growth, Barner has emerged as one of the nation's most wanted prospects in any class, but especially the Class of 2028.
Barner has game day visits scheduled to the following schools:
- Georgia: Sept. 12 vs. Western Kentucky
- USC: Sept. 26 vs. Oregon
- Texas A&M: Oct. 3 vs. Arkansas
- Miami: Oct. 17 vs. Florida State
- Ohio State: Nov. 7 vs. Oregon
- Indiana: Nov. 7 vs. USC
- Alabama: Nov. 28 vs. Auburn
The Ole Miss game hosting LSU is also a strong possibility to be added to the schedule.
Georgia will kick off Barner's visit schedule in Week 2 for a matchup that Barner will go to Athens with several of his high school teammates.
"Pumped for that all-white game," Barner said. "I love the University of Georgia."
Despite that comment, there's a lot of belief that some of the programs outside the state of Georgia might hold the edge over the Bulldogs at this time. Ohio State, Miami and Texas A&M are central among those suitors outside of Barner's home state.
Miami: "Coach [Will] Harris, for sure. He's a great guy. What they did with Jakobe [Thomas] and them last year. I love it. That's the same vision they've got for me if I come there. I went to the Legends camp, and it was fun down there. I'm going to see them play FSU. I love the facilities and the city of Miami in general."
