Like I think you said before. All that discussion has run its course its time to just stop all the back and forth. The post I responded to IMO tried too hard to generalize everyone as either being pro Carter/Golden or anti Carter/Golden. There is no such thing as anti Carter.

You all are the protagonists, amongst the million, that dynamic trio, that went on and on questioning a parent's motivation (even after he answered you directly) in bringing enlightenment to his son's courage and plight to survive, while raising awareness to his rare cancerous condition. So now Doc can agree that "its time to just stop" conveying about a courageous effort, just so you can go back and talk about the "real banner" which the son's banner (that you criticize about) took away from the Golden banner. Let's face it dynamic trio: The banner about the son took the bite from the fire Golden banner, and actually made UM fans not look so bad nor embarrassing at all, and thus the media gave less exposure to the Fire Golden banner news. Look, I am no Golden slurper and am mad now for dropping games to the likes of LV, Neb, & GT, but hey, you three win... you flooded the administrators with PM complaining about takeover of the board, and you win: Let's just go back to bashing Golden on the fact that no matter what happens, the players won't play in the ACC Championship game, they won't get but one (1) crack at FSU, and that's even if the players win out.

Life is full of simplicities, and this is one of them. Nothing complicated here; you went ham about his lack of fervor about who ran a banner about his son... you went ad nauseam about that, and that is simply nuts, even in the face that he directly answered you in more ways than I could count. I asked Hucks about the banner and the motivation behind whoever flew the banner. Never once did I question that man about his son's disease. My converstaion with Hucks was about the banner and whether or not someone else was using Carter for their own personal gain. That was all. So keep going on with the dumb ****.

And even the ones who asked him what was his motivation, he responded. It was discussed, it ended. You are way off on this one buddy. You're attempt to make those who are anti Golden out to be anti a kid with a serious illness is disgusting.

Carter had two lines surgically placed in his chest called a Broviac (msp.) lines. They go into a major vein. The bone marrow cells are injected into one of those lines via those two syringes. The radiation and chemo shut down his old, failing marrow. The new cells engraft over time, and his blood counts then go back to healthy levels. He's feverishly monitored for Grafts versus Host disease, which if that comes on, could have life threatening consequences.

It's something used to preserve the blood cells. Smells like pluff mud and garlic. They give you medicine to help you get it out of your system. Makes 80 percent of kids puke because they can taste it when it's being infused. That's what the lollipop was for, to offset the flavor.

That's crazy! I live in Salt Lake City where that author was speaking of. So if pluff mud smells like the Great Salt Lake I know exactly what you are talking about. Now add garlic and I'd probably throw up too.

Yeah, oddly I like the smell of both, so it didn't bother me much at all. Not much bothers Carter, so we weren't too surprised.
