Carson Beck: The Heisman Candidate People Refuse to Acknowledge

What site did this come from? Regardless, I still can't figure out why Beck gets so much disrespect. I love it though- he's going to make everyone eat their words

Popped up on Reddit… laughable to say the least. But it did remind me of the Cam disrespect last preseason and we saw how that worked out for them.

I think we may have awoken a sleeping…well…

He’s not messing around though

I don’t get it. He’s never been bad statistically. Never played behind a good offensive line. Better scheme, better fit, worse defenses. Just stay healthy.

You’re surprised?

McGahee was the best player in CFB in 2002 and it wasn’t close. I don’t give a da*n about the yardage numbers for the season. McGahee was so incredibly impactful in every single game. And then closed out the season with 6TD’s against VTech (should have been 7).

That’s easy… he plays for the University of Miami. If he was still at UGA he’d be preseason top 3 because that’s how it works for them.

I love the "well Miami is not Georgia" MF'er his WR's were one of the reasons he had a "down" year!

Talk about why Beck should play with a huge chip on his shoulder. ESPN’s Field Yates had Beck No. 1 in his preseason NFL draft last year. Now, he is not among the 6 QBs in his latest mock draft. Maybe the elbow injury factored in and, of course, he’s not at Georgia and the SEC.

Field Yates: "I'll say this right off the top: A lot can -- and will -- change over the next eight months. There are a lot of snaps to be played, and plenty of events will alter top prospects' outlooks before Round 1 on April 23. Consider that I had Carson Beck going No. 1 in my preseason mock draft at this time last year, and he ultimately stayed in school and transferred from Georgia to Miami. There are just a lot of unknowns in August."
