They put the D$ bat signal up for the stimulus package..

Good episode, I like both of them and they do a great job for league overall.. I gave them side eye when they wished us a loss to benefit ACC overall but both are GREAT at what they do and represent ACC well

Really good stuff. You’ve really perfected your style in these types of interviews. Knowledgeable & likable.

Being that complimentary makes me uncomfortable…

You have a tiny wiener & you dress like a homo.

That feels better.

I feel like there's not enough talk about the makeup of the selection committee itself.

Currently Employed
Troy Dannen - Current AD at University of Nebraska
Mark Harlan - Current AD at University of Utah
Ivan Maisel - Current journalist for ESPN
Chris Massaro - Current AD at Middle Tennessee State University
David Sayler - Current AD at Miami University
Carla Williams - Current AD at University of Virginia, played basketball at University of Georgia
Hunter Yurachek - Current AD at University of Arkansas

Retired (or don't currently work in Athletics)
Chris Ault - Former head coach at University of Nevada
Mark Dantonio - Former head coach at Michigan State University, played DB at USCe.
Jeff Long - Former AD at Kansas, Arkansas, Pitt, and Eastern Kentucky.
Mike Riley - Former coach at Oregon State and Nebraska, Alabama alum under Bear Bryant
Wesley Walls - Former Ole Miss alum (all-american TE)

SEC Ties: 6 of the 12 have some ties either as current employees within the SEC or formerly having played at programs within the conference.

Let's also not ignore the fact that many of the current ADs that are in the committee are currently at smaller schools. The really only person with ACC representation is Carla and she's a former UGA basketball player and still relatively young in her career. If an SEC school comes calling....she'd absolutely listen.

The amount of bias is no surprise to anyone here. But the fact that it's so blatant and no one talks about it is utterly insane to me.

How can you have current ADs for programs on this committee?
Why isn’t there a requirement that committee members be fully independent from schools or conferences currently under consideration?

Representing the Canes well. Watched it, send MacLain some UM wall art to replace those Edgar Degas horses with. Maybe we can get some TD Pitt fingers on canvas?

Hot Take--would take reps with Gramlich's stand-in over Yanet Garcia.

Disagree with you about Carla Williams. She's been a really solid AD - just look at UVA's program. I think she is more than capable and likely is lobbying for the ACC. She has a team who is still fighting to get into the ACCCG to possibly earn a spot in the CFP
