Some questions for you Prez:

1. Corch Al has never won 10 games before. Why do you think he can do it this upcoming season?

2. Would you say this team has more talent this year compared to last year?

3. What about the bowl game?

Its not so much this team is better... the competition is not as good... i think Kaaya has what it takes to lead ... think he has and will get more of a supporting cast around him... AQM will bring some needed attitude to the D... Kamalu and Thomas blow up this year... d needs to be exposed to a little more contact in practice...risk injury..reward better tackling... Yearby will impress us all.. They can do it... i believe...

We should be far more generous. Moral victories should include: victories deserved (per game); first downs attempted; scoring (2 moral victories per point); pillars upheld, or renewed, per quarter; use of properly inflated balls (1 moral victory per psi/per ball used in game).

Im with you OP. I think this team will do some great things. We have talent at the skill positions and an improving defense. I think a lot of players take that next step this year.

Anything is possible with this soft schedule. The two best QB's we'll face all of next year play for Clemson and GT. FSU has a lot of players to replace. Nebraska was Abdullah and little else. VT, they have more problems than we do even if they have the better coaching staff. Then there's the usual should be cupcakes we've lost to through the years.

We fell two short of where I thought we'd be last season and there's no question we had far more experienced talent. So who knows what'll happen this year, but I just can't see less than 8 wins by default.

It's a ******* nightmare situation honestly. We have the worst coach in the country which is only outdone by an even worse administration.

The bar has been set so ******* low that if that fat *** squirms his way into an 8 win season he's likely to get ANOTHER extension. Our schedule is weak as **** and FSU is in for a down year losing Winston.

Nightmare scenario...that piece of **** might win just enough close games to save his job but keep us mediocre for another 3-5 years. This program is a **** show right now.

Like your positive attitude OP. Why do you feel this way? It would appear that Golden has yet to prove that he can out coach his opponent in the 2nd half of games.

The talent level.... Kaaya and Yearby makes one of the better offenses in the ACC... The team didn't loose the last 4 game because of talent... The FSU game beat us all spiritually... and they couldn't recover... Defense of line is ready... I really think ACC Championship is a realistic in the next two season.

Then how do you explain the Nebraska and Ga Tech losses? (I'll give a pass on the Louisville game) How about the loss to a horrible South Carolina team with a month to prepare?

8 or less wins. I made a 10 win prediction last spring. We had a favorable schedule, Duke returning, S. Coley and a serviceable sr QB. But I didn't factor in 2-3 L's based on our core pillar, risk aversion.

So to all the OG posters who were on point with their predictions last yr...Respect.
