Like your positive attitude OP. Why do you feel this way? It would appear that Golden has yet to prove that he can out coach his opponent in the 2nd half of games.

The talent level.... Kaaya and Yearby makes one of the better offenses in the ACC... The team didn't loose the last 4 game because of talent... The FSU game beat us all spiritually... and they couldn't recover... Defense of line is ready... I really think ACC Championship is a realistic in the next two season.

Miami was the second most talented team in the ACC and finished dead last in the coastal.

Talent and hard work isn't enough to overcome Al Golden. He would've lost 4 games with the 2001 team.

1. Corch Al has never won 10 games before. Why do you think he can do it this upcoming season?

Anything is possible with this soft schedule. The two best QB's we'll face all of next year play for Clemson and GT. FSU has a lot of players to replace. Nebraska was Abdullah and little else. VT, they have more problems than we do even if they have the better coaching staff. Then there's the usual should be cupcakes we've lost to through the years.

We fell two short of where I thought we'd be last season and there's no question we had far more experienced talent. So who knows what'll happen this year, but I just can't see less than 8 wins by default.

^^THIS! We are replacing some key position players to the NFL and we don't know what the new cats bring to the table. Kirby is a senior and first year starter. Yearby is good but he needs to add weight and stay shifty, Dobard looks good but obviously has fumbling issues as evident in the latest scrimmage, Flowers will be sorely missed. Gunter will be missed, etc. etc. This team will not win more games this year than last. I would bet the farm on it. Having the early bye week creates a nightmare second half of the season.

I'm going with 5 - 7 wins this season and if they make a bowl game a L there too.
