I think it's probably because Cristobal and co have recruited really well and actually brought talent into the programme.

I could be wrong though.

We’ve had this talent since last year with Ward. We should have had other games where we curb stomped teams like this. We can have ALL the talent in the world, but if you’re predictable, conservative and don’t match your scheme to your personnel, you will not blow other teams out, no matter the talent gap.

But for today at least, there are signs that could be changing.

Skeptical whether we do it against better teams though

Mario is a bully. We get peacocking playing against ****** teams and frontrunning but tight games we retreat into the running it up the middle ****

Still it’s good to see. AT LEAST give the defense something to think about like using Toney as a decoy or some kind of wrinkle

We threw the ball twice on 3rd and 2. We ran play action on 2nd and 2. We haven’t done either of those things in 6 games. If nothing else, at least we’re trying to break tendencies.
