Ivey can't cover in a Press man, he lines up too square & can't change direction at all, he's got bad recovery speed, once he's beat, he's done if the QB makes a good throw. He can only cover with an 8 yard cushion.

Brian George would start day 1 on this Defense.

Not saying you're wrong but it was a technique failure. He took a long step forward with his inside foot. His momentum goes forward and then you have inertia to turn and run. He lost the moment that happened and got in a trail position. Everything else you said is irrelevant. Any CB uses technique like that he's getting burnt.
