Actually until last week's referees, I had us with a chance running the table regular season this year based on what we were seeing.

Then wheels came off wagon both offensively and referees with GT.

That is Miami's mean for about last 10 years or so.

I’m not feeling great about this one. Maybe if we get the aTm game UM. Today’s the day we find out about our pass defense the capability of which I’ve questioned.

@skeeter I hope I’m wrong and you’re right that it’s at least decent.

Maye will be as good as we see. DL performance on our end, however, can make the difference. I’m genuinely concerned that the refs will not call UNC holds.

Yup. You just know ACC Refs in UNC are going to let Corey Gainer hold all game.
 
I really want to say UNC pulls away and keeps pouring it on from the 2nd quarter onwards but I think our defense and offense show up.

Where did you see a spotlight on them? They said they investigated themselves and found themselves to not be at fault. If anything it emboldens them to do it again.

However, I don't think it'll be as bad this week but it has nothing to do with any "spotlights."

I agree huge test for pass D…But I would remember when reviewing the performance afterwards…Drake Maye and UNC can light up a lot of teams.

Really wish Mesidor was playing.

The DL is what we need to make the difference and help our pass defense. While I think we’re going to get held and the refs are going to allow it, Mesidor being in there brings inside pressure that could impact release time.
This is why I hate last week so much. We should be 5-0 and a closer loss today isn’t devastating and a win makes us top 10.

That's what's so hard to think about with last week's loss…That loss with what we have coming up starting this week. 10-2 seems impossible right now after being firmly in grasp imo.
 
I think the crowd and vibe will be too much to overcome and we lose tonight then come back and beat Clemson and FSU to finish 10-2.

Everything points to an L sadly.

I think it might be closer than I originally thought but I don't trust Mario or TVD. Within the last 20 years, the Canes tend to go on a losing streak after getting upset by a team they have no business losing to. "The culture has changed" nah, the culture is still the same. Bad bi week results, poor coaching and circus like circumstances. Idk what we did but there is some bad weird juju going on here.
