Not just LB (which is INSANELY thin) and OL. Also CB. And let's face it, our safeties may have numbers but are not Miami-level.

The good news is that Kaaya is almost certainly coming back, along with the entire offense except Isadora, as well as all the LBs and DL. So secondary is only problem next year. A couple of transfers there could change everything.

I mean unless you have zero faith in Colbert, Redwine then I'm not sure what the problem is at CB. At one point during camp you had Mayes, Jackson, Young all in the mix at CB4. Does every CB on the roster need to be Deion Sanders or something? And at safety you have four guys receiving regular playing time and three true freshmen behind them in case they all get injured in a car wreck or something. You people are just regurgitating **** at this point.

Part of that has to do with play calling imo. 75 rushes to 52 passes through two games.

The opportunities just aren't there for everyone to have a breakout sesaon. Go back and look a the numbers Wayne, Moss, Shockey, Winslow were putting up. Those guys were playing in a balanced offense just like we are now.

I agree that depth isn't that big of an issue at WR and on this team period, Malik is on the depth chart until Dionte Mullins catches up with the playbook. Regardless some of you all keep saying depth depth depth all the time like most teams can put their 3rd and 4th guy at the position, on the field, and keep the same level of production. Its pretty comical that you think there is a depth issue while 10 win/playoff teams are coaching up walkons and 2 stars.

There is no depth issue. Lsu has nothing but five star wrs and it didnt help them at all against wisconsin.

The notion that you need all of this talent is asinine. This is why we spent money on a coaching staff... TO DEVELOP ALL TALENT. Not just scholarship players.

There's a lack of experience at WR but not a lack of depth. What college team has 5 seniors in the rotation at WR? There are spots on the roster where there's a significant drop-off from first team to second (LB, CB, OT) but WR isn't in as bad of shape. Plus the fact that Miami has three experienced and effective tight ends. They don't need to use seven different guys at WR.

If any team loses 4 starters to injury, they're in a lot of trouble.

I am amazed at how people can just look past the fact that Herndon and Njoku are used like WR's. As athletic as those two are, two TE sets are going to be standard for us for 2016. And the number of throws those two (plus our stable of backs) see is going to take a lot of the air out of the room for the WRs.

LSU has talent. Wisconsin has depth. Alabama has both. We want both. Wisconsin wins with grown men who out physical their opponents. We are not Wisconsin. Good staffs do more with less but our DEPTH is bad. How many WR in the 2 deep have played meaningful snaps here? Could say that at several positions.

I see Gus possibly transferring at the end of this season. There's really no place for him I think.

May I ask why you think that Edwards will all of a suddenly become a part of the gameplan in week 3?

He didn't appear until late in the 3rd quarter against FAMU and didn't touch the ball once against FAU, and yet you people continue clamoring for the ****ing guy like he's Eric ****erson.

Different backs for different situations. That's all. I see him getting more carries, not starting over anyone.

The problem is gus doesn't give us anything different. I don't know how long people are going to keep pretending that just because he is the heaviest back that he will run like he is some head down bruiser. He thinks he is a ballerina and a sprinter, and has played like that his entire career. Dude has been lucky to get the touches he has here, and if not for missing on a string of great south florida backs (Michel, Cook, Collins specifically) dude never would have seen the field outside of mop up duty where he belongs.

He is as big as most of their D linemen, so yes, I believe in THIS game he can play a roll. I'm not saying he's our best back, or that his running style is perfect. All I'm saying is when you're facing a smaller D-line, hitting them with big backs isn't a bad way to go at them. If there is one game on our schedule that I see Gus playing a bigger role in, it is this game.

Again, I am not saying he's the best back on the team, or has some lurking ability just waiting to explode. All I am saying is that against a small line, why not pound the ball right at them with your biggest back? Not even as a starter, mind you. Just more carries coming off the bench than he's seen so far.
