Canes recruiting coverage and its effect.

Considering all these recruiting "bloggers/reports" get to spend more time with the recruits than the coaches actually do... How does the canes lackluster or informal recruiting coverage effect recruits perception of the home team in your opinion. I've subbed to 2 other sites in the past and trolled all the usuals....eye on the u...palm beach post....barry jackson blog.

Take 247 ITU for instance, their staff is the worst in florida. Stampini at the UF page and Newberg at FSU's page run circles around them...it's not even comparable. Half the relevant info on the site is posted by Bartow and he's not even covering the canes. They're not even at a majority of the camps our rivals are attending, they rely on national reporters to feed them generic BS.. It's embarrassing.

Then there is the herald....you have Manny Navarro who's the journalist equivalent of Al Bundy who thinks he's still relevant......and sourpuss Denegan spreading lies and throwing shade. Miami’s leading returning rusher suspended for spring game – CollegeFootballTalk

CIS....we've got some newbie contributor bragging about getting kicked out of rivals camp and petes too lazy to post half his info onto his own website we have to transcribe it for him from twitter.



I know high school football/college reporting isn't exactly a formal format but am i wrong for expecting a little better when the schools ahead of us are crushing us on and off the field. Don't get me wrong, I don't want them to blow sunshine and unicorns up our asses but **** can we get a little home team advantage?

I personally think Rivals does the best job of coverage for Canes. As much as people here like to bash Ferman, he and Matt are out there doing their best.

I think this message board is better, thanks to folks like D$ and many others.
 
It's as if I read the rantings of a 40 yr old virgin.

Sileo has ten listeners in San Diego. He has ****all to do with Miami recruiting. And if you were looking to him for info in the first place you might be the only person on the Earth dumber than that dope.
 
I may need an interpretation/translation, but what I think he was saying is that the coverage of the Canes sucks.
 
He is right about 247. That is the worst format for Canes coverage I have ever seen. I hope nobody is paying those guys cuz they are terrible. What is hilarious is they have people paying for that sight and all they ever do is talk amongst themselves...lol, they really should understand they can do that for free.

Everyone knows that. Problem is the goofball tried to link that as a cause for a recruiting disadvantage. He left out that we recruit better than any 8 win irrelevant team in the country. Start winning and become relevant again. That's all.
