Canes on TV?

Viewed the UNC game with the Hulu free 7 day trail, but ACCN jerked me around and didn't see some of the first quarter.
Got YouTube TV with free 5 day trail for the BC game... I didn't cancel and today I got billed for a month:
YouTube TV
$56.57 USD

I’m really looking to cut the cord, and I need to sit down & calculate the price for Internet, Alarm, w YouTube TV or Sling & Hulu+ v. internet, Alarm, and Xfinity Cable. ESPECIALLY w this issue w ACCN.
So I don’t have the alarm or phone with Xfinity. I have Simplysafe for alarm, paid for the equipment, but only $15/month. Have had it for two years, with equipment paid off, now netting at $15/mont. I priced it different ways, and sling is the most convenient choice, with the month to month subscription. I misspoke previously, it’s $40/month, not $35. So adding up, $120 for Xfinity (no modem charges - I own) $15 for alarm, and $40 for a couple of months for Sling. I am almost certain Xfinity will get in on ACCN in the near future, and will be part of the sports package I already subscribe to, which will make Sling dispensable. Hope this helps clarify, I’m sure fellow Canes here will shed some more light on this.

Does your Simplysafe alarm $15/mo. charge include central alarm monitoring/police calling service? I pay Comcast $249/mo. for alarm/cable TV premium package/fast internet, and I have my own modem and wifi router. I sure as **** hope that I can drop the YouTube TV fee in the near future when ACCN comes to Xfinity's sports package that I pay good $ for.

Solid my man; appreciate u sharing all of that. I was talking to a cat from Wave Cable/Internet. He was honest w me and said by the time you add up the price, it’s about even. He, too, has Xfinity (b/c Wave don’t service all areas, including mine & his). He said he broke down the total price and he saved about $18/month....but he was also missing certain channels.

I’m really going to break down from top to bottom this weekend regarding the price differences & see what makes most economic & convenient sense.

They have two packages from what I recall: $15/month, and $25/month. Difference is you have web access and control for the latter. Both include monitoring, emergency services notification, text alerts to any and all activities. They also have a panic red button you can adhere near your bed. The catch is, you have to purchase all the sensors for doors, windows, smoke detectors, glass break, motion detectors, yard signs. I spent a grand on all the sensors to protect ground floor vulnerabilities, with all the above features. But if you spread the cost over two years, you’ll be paid off in two years what you’d pay for with one of the bigger thieves in the business. At this point, $15/month is all I pay. Hope this helps.

Also, you’ll have to see how much you’re paying Comcast for the alarm component, then compare.

Comcast is slick... 3 years ago I got Xfinity Home (alarm) with one motion and three door sensors at no cost but just for signing up for the expensive plan that includes internet/cable TV channels/alarm with a two year commitment. But there is no way to remove the cost for just the alarm component. Thing is they got you with things like voice remote controls and DVR recording from any remote... which I use during football season all the time.

Cmon' my Cane bro .... hes dealing with some Health issues my mane we don't know how serious it is... Don't we supposed to be :neonu: FAMILY?

Which means bigger than football.
That's why I no longer go. Bad back, knees, feet. All age-related, arthritis throughout. I'd have to fly...no thanks. No longer feel like sitting and standing, up-and-down, on each play. That's standard whenever you sit in the stadium.

It used to be a lot of fun.

I feel like the ACCN was a ploy to bury us.

It seems that grandma streaming services was taken down, any other way to watch this game?
Not at all surprising. I kind of felt they would be targeted by ESPN. Maybe prosecuted. Guy running it was in the U.S., Texas, I think.

There was a streaming service on YouTube for FoxNews called Grandpa's. Every once in a while it would disappear.

Maybe same guy. You know the networks will target what are unauthorized illegal streams.

Fox used to target illegal streams. Ten years ago there was FoxNews Underground. It was put out of business by News Corp. (Fox owner).

There are probably other illegal streams still on sportsurge. Don't be surprised to see more changes over time.

ATTN EVERYONE. :Grandmastream.liv: To catch all ACCN Games no signups or anything everything is broadcasting in HD no buffering no annoying ads either.... 💯
