Canes Hoops jumps to #3 in 2024 recruiting class with Jalil Bethea commitment

National top-10 recruit Jalil Bethea committed to Miami this afternoon, making him the highest-ranked recruit in basketball program history.

The 5-star shooting guard from Archbishop Wood HS (PA) committed to Jim Larrañaga’s staff over the likes of hometown Villanova and Kansas. Bethea is listed at 6-4, 175 pounds and becomes the third commitment of Miami’s recruiting class, joining four-stars Austin Swartz and Isaiah Johnson-Arigu. The Hurricanes now have the #3 recruiting class in the country according to the 247composite rankings.

easily. it would put us at 67.49 and unc is at 64.56

He visits 10/6 and already visited Houston a while ago so we have a chance given that he hasnt committed to them already

I don’t follow BB recruiting enough to know when the ESD and SD are. I’d imagine the blue bloods make their jump eventually.
