They may be assuming the worst and simply want him for his hitting and baserunning.I do find it interesting that you’re not primarily starting Cyr for defensive reasons, but you do start him with a pitcher that’s…sensitive to adversity.

There’s a line that for sure won’t come back to haunt us.If Cyr gets on base expect him to be running. Gino to Cyr at practice a few weeks ago: “If you get on base it’s an automatic double.”
